As a Certified LEAP Therapist she specializes in non-IgE Food Sensitivities related to Migraines, Crohn’s, IBS, Fibromyalgia and other inflammatory digestive abnormalities.  Incorporating Mediator Release testing (MRT) to identify hidden food and chemical sensitivities.  Once trigger foods are identified (important to reduce inflammation) a food specific food plan is designed with safe foods, incorporating healthy proteins, fats, etc.

Additional a la carte nutrition related testing is offered as well to identify other digestive related issues:

Comprehensive nutrition assessment to include but not limited:  biomarkers related to GI function and dysbiosis, extensive vitamin, mineral and enzyme deficiencies, energy and carbohydrate metabolism,  fatty acid deficiencies, adrenal & thyroid panels, nutrigenomics, etc.

Gwen’s blog focuses on teaching others how to eat healthy through demonstrating how to make healthy and delicious whole food meals.

Gwen has over 15 plus years of experience in the field of health, nutrition and prevention from a holistic perspective.  The combined years of experience include  private practice nutrition consulting, Functional & Integrative Nutrition, Holistic and alternative perspectives involving cleansing and detoxification programs; raw food and regular cooking classes, probiotic rich foods, adaptogenic herbs and Superfoods.

Other experience includes a Clinical background in hospitals and other acute care settings, practicing Medical Nutrition Therapy, Administration as a former Director of Food & Nutrition, Consultant for SNF’s, Assisted Living Facilities, & Home Care (wound care) speaker with Lunch and Learn’s for Fortune 500 companies, teaching Nutrition as Adjunct Faculty: the Science of Nutrition and Public Health Nutrition both the JC and University level. Working with Diabetics and conducting weight loss plans that target belly fat.

Current focus involves helping the world get healthy one blog post at a time as a social media strategist, speaker, writer and vlogger.
